Rudell Stitch
#2 Ranked Welterweight Boxer from Louisville, KY, who died on 6/5/1960, trying to save a friend from drowning in the Ohio River. Rudell was one of Ali's heroes, and would spar with Ali (Cassius Clay at the time) once a week as Ali was training for the 1960 Rome Olympics. He is one of only four people in history to have received two of the prestigious Carnegie Hero Medals for heroism.
